The Armory Foundation
The Armory Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth by promoting fitness and education through a broad range of athletic, educational and community programs. The Armory annually hosts over 100 track & field competitions, training for more than 220,000 athletes and 300,000 visitors ranging from elementary school youth to senior citizens.

Bella Abzug Leadership Institute
The Bella Abzug Leadership Institute (BALI) has proudly worked with young women throughout NYC and the tri-state area since 2005, inspiring, training and mentoring them to become leaders in creating positive social and economic change. BALI provides the very best skills-based leadership and policy and public forum debate training, free of tuition cost.



Figure Skating in Harlem
Figure Skating in Harlem helps girls transform their lives and grow in confidence, leadership and academic achievement. The organization is the only organization in the world for girls of color that combines the power of education with access to the artistic discipline of figure skating to build champions in life.

Girls for Gender Equity
Girls for Gender Equity (GGE) works intergenerationally, through a Black feminist lens, to achieve gender and racial justice by centering the leadership of Black girls and gender-expansive young people of color to reshape culture and policy through advocacy, youth-led programming and shifting dominant narratives.



Girls Write Now
Girls Write Now mentors young women and gender-expansive youth from systemically underserved backgrounds to find their voices through the power of writing and community. As New York City’s first writing and mentoring organization for girls and gender-expansive youth, Girls Write Now has been a nationally respected leader in arts education for more than 20 years, remaining dedicated to our mission of breaking down institutionalized barriers to empower the next generation of writers, leaders and activists.
Groundswell NYC
Groundswell is a NYC-based organization that brings together youth, artists and community organizations to use art as a tool for social change. Through exposure to a high-quality arts education rooted in social justice with social/emotional support, Groundswell programs develop creative problem-solvers who use their radical imaginations to create personal and societal change.



Lower Eastside Girls Club
The Lower Eastside Girls Club connects young women and gender-expansive youth of color throughout New York City to healthy and successful futures through free, innovative year-round programming and mentoring. Hundreds of youth ages 10–23 participate in the after-school, weekend and summer programming in STEM, arts, digital media, sound, wellness, civic engagement and leadership.

Powerplay NYC
PowerPlay NYC creates physical fitness, after-school and summer opportunities for girls ages 8 through 18 by partnering with schools and CBOs in NYC. Using sports as their center, PowerPlay starts a dialogue, offers the chance for critical and analytical thinking and opens the door to personal, academic and career growth for girls at all stages of their development.



Row New York
Row New York provides year-round rowing programs for everyone: youth, adult and adaptive athletes. The organization was founded based on the premise that the unique combination of rowing plus academic support develops confidence and cultivates a strong work ethic, regardless of background or ability.

Sadie Nash Leadership Project
Sadie Nash Leadership Project provides award-winning experiential social justice education to over 500 young women and gender-expansive youth in New York City and Newark each year. It utilizes the methodology of popular education to build community, critical consciousness and college and career readiness for students.
